研究興趣

 

病毒感染引起人類許多疾病,嚴重者甚至造成死亡。想要有效的治療、預防及控制病毒感染引起的疾病,首先必須瞭解病毒的致病機制。我實驗室的研究以動物模型來探討病毒致病機制,應用分子病毒學的方法,找出病毒致病的基因,並深入探討其機轉。同時也研究病毒感染後與寄主的互動,引起的免疫反應有那些,及這些免疫反應在感染過程中扮演的角色。期望能提供訊息,幫助臨床醫師更有效的治療、預防及控制病毒感染引起的疾病。目前實驗室研究神經性病毒之如庖疹病毒及腸病毒七十一型的致病機轉。
