研究興趣

 

  1. 類固醇對感覺神經細胞辣椒素(capsaicin)受體調控作用的機制:感覺神經細胞辣椒素受體在痛覺訊息傳遞及發炎所誘發熱痛過敏現象上擔任一個重要角色。目前我們正利用電生理、藥理學與痛覺行為測試的方法,探討動情激素(17b-estradiol)及相關類固醇對大白鼠背根神經節細胞辣椒素受體所誘發之電流及痛覺反應的影響作用。此外,我們亦研究辣椒素誘發大白鼠產生急性痛及熱痛過敏現象之性別差異的機制。
  2. 長期運動訓練增強大白鼠海馬迴及杏仁核區域長期增益現象(long-term potentiation; LTP)作用機制之探討:LTP被認為是一種與學習及記憶形成有關的細胞模式,我們最近的初步研究發現,四週跑步機運動訓練可增強大白鼠海馬迴及杏仁核區域之LTP。有證據顯示,運動訓練可促進動物腦中腦衍生神經滋養因子(brain-derived neurotrophic factor; BDNF)的表現,且BDNF具有增強動物海馬迴及杏仁核兩腦區LTP的作用。最近的一篇研究報告亦指出,長期運動訓練可經由降低大白鼠海馬迴及杏仁核區域中血清素(serotonin; 5-HT)系統的作用,來增強學習與記憶。目前我們正在探討5-HT及BDNF在長期運動訓練增強大白鼠海馬迴及杏仁核區域LTP作用中所擔任的角色。
