研究興趣

 

 

  1. 學習和記憶是神經科學研究的一個重要領域,而扁桃體(Amygdala)之神經細胞和人類之學習和記憶有密切之關聯。目前我們利用一種動物行為模式,即長期增益現象,在老鼠扁桃體腦切片標本中,探討動物學習與記憶形成之細胞機轉,並利用藥理分析找出藥物可用於改善一些記憶不良之病人。
  2. 失智症是一種嚴重的退化性疾病可影響一個人的思維和記憶。老人癡呆症是失智症最常見的一種。我們利用兩種基因轉殖鼠作為老人癡呆症的動物模式,探討各種可以惡化或預防老人癡呆症的細胞或分子機制。我們最終的目標是經由生理及藥理實驗找出可防止老人痴呆之藥物。
