研究興趣

1. 為何不同類型功能的細胞使用相同的基因組涉及表觀遺傳過程(epigenetics process)。這些

過程必須受到嚴格的監管, 以防止不適當的細胞行為可能導致的人類疾病如癌症和過早老化。

2. 本實驗室利用遺傳、 生化、 分子和細胞生物、 藥理、 和高解析度即時成像技術,並結合果蠅和哺乳動物系統上有效的 遺傳學工具,研究抗老及抗癌的機制。

3. 我們的工作側重於信號傳遞 (signaling transduction pathways) 和染色質因子 (chromatin factors)之間的網路 (network),研究表觀遺傳的信號傳遞和染色質因子網路與環境疾病之間的連接。隨著我們更加地瞭解表觀遺傳機制,希望可以 提供新的方法及藥物以預防治療癌症和老年疾病。
